What is a minimal Shopify theme?
A minimal Shopify theme keeps the interface small so the products and photography carry the brand. In practice that means a short header with only the logo, menu, search and bag, one typeface at a small size for product names and prices, plenty of space, and product images that run edge to edge. Minimal should not mean missing features: size and fit details, filters, quick add and drop tools can all be there, shown quietly. A minimal theme also tends to be fast, because it avoids heavy sliders and animation libraries on every page. FRONTROW's Street preset, shown in the Atelier Brut demo, is its quietest look: a minimal header with a live store clock, 12-pixel product type, grey image wells and a stacked product gallery with a thumbnail scrubber. Questions
Is it minimal only in the Street preset?
The layout is minimal in every preset. The Street preset is the quietest; Train, Layer and Club add bolder type and colour on the same structure.
Can I add my own fonts and colours?
Yes. Choose Shopify fonts or upload your own, and set colour schemes per section in the theme editor.
Does minimal mean fewer features?
No. Drops, lookbooks, size and fit, quick add and the free shipping bar are all there; they just don’t shout.
